PR 9 Levada do Caldeirão Verde is a hiking trail with a distance of 8.7 km and offers hikers the chance to explore the orography of the island's interior, known for its monumental landscapes. It is in the midst of the Laurissilva forest, where abundant water is routed through a historic 'levada', built in the 18th century.
Note: Temporarily closed in the area between Caldeirão Verde and Caldeirão do Inferno
